I LOVE getting to see these kids every year! Always suprised at how much they've grown and matured! As mom and I were discussing this years session... way back in the good ol' WARM
summer time... I suggested we do cottonfields!! She said okay, but I could tell she wasn't sold on it. ;) Well the closer the session came the more on board Katie became. And by session day we were all STOKED!!
I don't know who had more fun me or the kids, as we romped through the cotton.
So lesson's learned from my first cottonfield session.
1) Though "cotton" is soft the fields ARE NOT!! I kept getting caught on all the VERY hard branches.
2)You NEVER need a reflector in a cotton field... especially when you're shooting near noon. The light just bounces all over the place out in those fields.
3) Again... even though the thought of a cotton field is a sea of beautiful, white and fluffy cotton... there's a whole lot of the ugly brown parts that I had to get rid of editing.
NOW... on with the program. :D

This was so much fun! I can't wait until the next visit to the cotton fields. :)
HUGS... and stay warm!
Ciao Bella!
